I’m Yasuhiro Mishima, and I’ve assumed the position as the 8th President of Futaba Industrial Co., Ltd.

I am also the first President with roots outside the company, but you can rest assured that I will be very much part of the Futaba team and work hard to take this company to the next stage of development.

As the new President, I would like to sincerely apologize for the improprieties at the end of last year in which we caused great inconvenience and worry to our shareholders, customers, suppliers, companies that we do business with, and employees.

We continue to soberly reflect on these improprieties, which we have found to be the result of deficiencies in our internal management system and reporting structures between related departments, as well as a corporate culture that was unable to correct mistakes early on. To ensure that this mistake never happens again, the officers of Futaba Industrial will work together to put in internal reforms and establish solid preventative measures such as stronger internal governance in order to create a highly transparent corporate constitution.

On the other hand, Futaba will not waver in its focus on contributing to society through monozukuri as we have always done. To do this, we have to immediately look at our profit structure and develop competitive products with a high degree of added value in order to establish a stable corporate foundation as soon as possible.

I will work with all officers at Futaba to put in internal reforms and strengthen our corporate foundation in order to earn back the trust of all of our stakeholders. I ask for your continued guidance and support. Thank you.
