Since becoming company president, I have channeled most of my efforts into achieving good two-way communication with our 2,500 employees. It has been my vision to create a positive and energetic corporate culture through spending time on the factory floor and chatting with people in the office. While engaging in this communication, I have been able to help employees who had hit a brick wall to solve their problem, and I really want them to be able to experience pleasure and a sense of accomplishment in their work.

At Futaba, everyone is working towards the goal of "Great Products for Less" a fundamental principle of the manufacturing world. As such, I have confidence that we are one of a select group of companies worldwide that are world-leaders in rapid-response low-cost diversified short-run production, and large-scale mass-production.

Our staff has achieved a real sense of teamwork at Futaba and has created production capabilities in the major regions of the globe in response to the needs of all our stakeholders ? stockholders, customers and employees. In this, my goal is to see Futaba become number one in the world for cost-competitiveness, strength of product line-up and production technology.

As a good corporate citizen, we intend to continue to contribute to the local areas in which we operate, and develop our products while paying careful attention to the environment - through this growing in harmony with society. I thank you in advance for your help in achieving these goals.
